Cancellation Policy
Grand Union Jiu Jitsu memberships operate on a recurring basis and continue until cancelled in accordance with the terms below.
30 Days’ Written Notice
All membership cancellations require a minimum of 30 days’ written notice.
Cancellation requests must be sent by email to:
The 30-day notice period begins on the date we receive your written cancellation request.
Any membership payment due during the 30-day notice period will remain payable.
Payments During the Notice Period
Membership fees will continue to be collected as normal during the cancellation notice period.
Choosing to stop attending classes does not end the membership or remove the requirement to complete the notice period.
Your membership and access to eligible classes will remain active for the period covered by your membership payments.
What Does Not Count as Cancellation
The following do not constitute cancellation of your membership:
- Stopping attendance
- Cancelling or stopping your Direct Debit
- Cancelling your payment card
- Verbally informing an instructor or member of staff
A cancellation is only considered valid once we have received your request in writing by email.
Membership Freezes
Membership freezes are separate from cancellations and are not automatic.
Freeze requests must be made in advance and are subject to approval. We may consider requests in circumstances such as injury, extended travel or exceptional personal circumstances.
