What's BJJ?
Bjj is a martial art created with techniques based upon principles of balance and leverage, it’s a system of manipulating the body in a manner where one could avoid relying upon strength or weapons.
The concept is that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger, heavier opponent. This is done by using technique, leverage, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground, and then applying joint locks and chokeholds to defeat the opponent.
